So the holiday is over and now it’s back to reality in the form of work in the morning.
I never realised that two weeks could pass in such a blur, I think I need *another* holiday to recover from that one.
I had a great time catching up with my friends and meeting some new ones. A and J were awesome hosts as always, and I’m very grateful to them for allowing me to stay with them for the duration.
The last week of the holiday mostly included a couple of days recovering from BlizzCon with plenty of walks and hikes thrown into the mix. RockBand was a feature, as it always is when I visit 😉 Add in regular WoW heroics and hanging out with some great people and the whole thing was both fun and relaxing.
The trip home was pretty uneventful, I wish I could have stayed longer but I’m kind of glad to be out of the heat too. The weather in Glasgow lived up to expectations and was overcast/raining when I got here, lol.
I did get asked which part of the holiday was my favourite, the problem is I enjoyed *all* of it so it’s hard to pick. I suppose if forced I’ll say that the photo safari and the pre con party were the highlights.
Now I need to go set my alarm for tomorrow morning…
