So it seems Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is to be the fuill title for the next GH release sometime next year. Having loved the first two to pieces I am looking forward to the next one. The hard decision will be choosing which format to get it on, Wii or PS2.
It appears that there will be another release this summer… Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s which should be out at the end of July! It’s been a while since I looked into it so I’m looking forward to that one now.
Over on wii.destructoid.com they have an image of what is reported to be the wii version of the GH 3 controller.
Since it seems all the versions of the controller are wireless the ps2 version would also appeal to me if it works with the older games. I guess I’ll just need to wait and see how things pan out as the release date draws closer.
And then there is the new game from the folks that produced the first 2 GH games.. Harmonix. Rock Band is only for the next gen consoles by the looks of it so I won’t be rushing out to buy it at release. Unless I won the lottery and my PS3 has pride of place, hehe. Of course I don’t do the lottery so that’s unlikely.
