pondworks continued, originally uploaded by Glodzilla.most of this work has been done in the rain which has been less than pleasant.
Still we’ve skipped forward a full day and the pond has been placed, earth backfilled around the raised section and a retaining wall of logs fitted.
The original plan was to make it square but we changed that to follow the shape of the pond more closely.
I like the way it has come out so far.
This photo was taken from my brother’s bedroom window because it is pouring down.
There is still some work to be done like hanging the lights properly and such but these can be done at leisure…
Now every muscle in my body aches and I want to sleep for a week…
