Not only is this *another* update in such a short period but I am still exercising regularly. Ok, it may not be awesome workout wise but every little helps.
I’ve been using EA Active for the Wii as a guide for my exercise routine and I am finding it to be pretty damned good at motivating me. The walking has taken a bit of a back burner the last few days due to rain, which is unfortunately forecast for the rest of the week.
At least with EA Active I have no excuse not to do *something*. And it’s fun to boot! I like some of the exercises like Cardio Boxing and the arm workouts. I have come to hate squats and lunges with a passion. Of course every day the damned thing seems to make me do *more* lunges and squats.
The biggest drawback I have found is that the resistance band provided with the game is far too weak for me. I have therefore placed an order for a stronger one online and hope to get that in the next few days. At least then the upper body stuff should become worthwhile. The only other niggle is the cable to the nunchuck.. it gets wrapped up on things during the exercises, I might look into a wireless alternative, but not right now.
