So, we all know that cars are just money sinks at the best of time. I spent most of today making sure everything was ok with mine. I knew it needed new wiper blades, I’ve also been looking into getting some improved headlight bulbs for it as on the dark nights I find the existing ones to be a bit weak.
I also knew that at least one tire needed replaced. On inspection this morning it turns out that all 4 were pretty much worn. So there went what little spare cash I had accumulated. All in one fell swoop. Again.
The kicker is, on my old car I’d just mot’d, insured and fitted new wipers and tyres…. Twice in 4 months, that smarts…
Still, it needs to be done. Spend too much time driving for any other option.
