Driving on an empty road, approaching a corner, car came the other way on full beam, I was on full beam. I switched my lights to dipped,
clipped the kerb, compensated, couldn’t see the corner because of theother cars lights, hit the corner at a bad angle, lost it, spun,
rolled. There’s a 3 foot drop into the field. Put it this way. I’m
a lucky boy 🙂
Net result, one broken car. On the bright side the insurance have declared it total loss already. On the downside the offer they made is not exactly good. I’ll need to wait until the documentaion shows up before I accept.
I crashed just before 1am. Luckily I was able to get out of the car and get to a phone.
Got home around 3 or so. Chilled out with a spot of WoW for a while. Headed to bed around 4:30. Woke at 8. Been on the go ever since.
/sigh.
